IT ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!

We are SO excited to welcome our very first egg into the family. Lee was feeding the chickens this morning and found our newest addition.  I immediately called Jess and Bailee and they were here in a flash (she said with camera in hand.)  We were immediately followed into the hen house by who we assume to be the proud Mama...and it's Bailee's "girl."  We have yet to weigh it or measure it's length and thankfully it has no hair.  It's now resting comfortably in it's cardboard crib waiting for a few more siblings to arrive.  It was a priceless morning for sure.... After all, we figure it's about a $600 egg!!!

Papa was so excited that he's thinking they deserve their very own real henhouse with a back door to easily collect their "deposits!"  The homecoming could be as soon as tomorrow!!!
